Anyone who wants to do so can be fully vaccinated by the end of August. That said Minister De Jonge in the TV show WNL on Sunday. That would be right in time for the new year of college and school.
The demissionary minister calls it a “real scenario” that corona measures such as the mouth cap obligation and the one and a half metres can be released around September 1:
It still depends on the vaccination rate and mutations, emphasized De Jonge. He therefore warned of carelessness. “You have to observe a foot and a half as long as youre not vaccinated.”
He mentioned the second prick for everyone who has been vaccinated with Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca vaccines “very important”, also because the vaccines better protect against new variants of the virus.
In order to get as many people as possible vaccinated, mobile puncture sites are used here, as in Germany, said De Jonge. These are buses that are temporarily in a certain place. This is necessary in certain neighbourhoods where migrants or low-literate people live. “We want to increase the vaccination rate not only in general, but also there.”
The Cabinet assumes that adults who want to be vaccinated received their first prick in mid-July. At first it was the beginning of July, but due to delivery problems that date has been postponed.
This Saturday, many measures will be released (partly) and according to the cabinet, the Netherlands will “actually” come out of the lockdown. On June 30, the next step will be taken, and more coronare rules will be removed.
