Behaviour Interactive studio, which became famous after the release of Dead by Daylight in 2016, is allegedly working on a new, unannounced project. This is evidenced by job descriptions posted on the studio‘s website. As we already know, in August, developers announced Meet Your Maker, a post-apocalyptic open-world puzzle game set to be released in 2023.
However, the job description for a console programmer mentions working on an unannounced project. The candidate’s requirements include experience in developing for Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 consoles.
Introduction to cross-platform multiplayer games is also mentioned, which implies a cross-platform online component of the future game. In the job description of the system online the programmer is directly talking about the new intellectual property.
It also mentions the achievement system, inventory and, possibly, microtransactions. For the position of system designer, the studio is looking for a specialist who should ensure constant content updates.
In addition, it mentions an introduction to current trends in competitive team games and game services. Behaviour Interactive seems to be working on an online cross-platform competitive a gaming service with microtransactions and a gaming economy.
It is expected to be released on PCs and new consoles. We just have to wait for its announcement.
