Not only in our country the bad weather caused damage, France also had to deal with storm weather Saturday. In some places there were hailstones as big as a hand. Disneyland was not spared either.
The bad weather that Belgium and the Netherlands faced Saturday night came from France; there were also rain showers and heavy thunderstorms. There was about 20 to 50 millimetres of rain in a short period of time. In some places there were winds ranging from 80 to even 100 kilometers per hour. In northern France, even giant hailstones fell from the sky.
Water to the ankles
And Disneyland Paris was not spared either. The park reopened last week for the first time in months. And also Saturday visitors were welcome, but the bad weather made a little less enjoyable visit to the park. On social media, photos show how people are in traffic jams for rides with water up to their ankles. Because of the rain, even parts of the escalator were no longer visible.
