Dominant Feyenoord wins derby victory and takes second place from PSV

Feyenoord managed to win the Rotterdam derby quite easily on Sunday afternoon. In-house, the Stadium Club was dominant for almost the entire game. It ended up being 3-0, thanks to hits by Orkun Kökcü, Javairô Dilrosun and Santiago Gimenez.
Feyenoord shot off against Sparta in De Kuip. The visitors were put under full pressure and that quickly created opportunities for Feyenoord. In the fifth minute, Kökcü even shot Arne Slots team convincingly on a 1-0 lead.
Even after the opening strike, Sparta was unable to make a fist against Feyenoord. As a result, we had to wait for the 2-0, which fell in the 35th minute. The normally so reliable Nick Olij didn
t look good with a shot from the home team. The goalkeeper was on the bounce, allowing goalscorer Dilrosun to cheer with the Feyenoord fans present.
At halftime, the 2-0 score was still on the scoreboard. In the second act, Sparta managed to show more of itself. Based on Koki Saito, who again left a good impression, Maurice Steijns team came to a number of possibilities. However, they were not used, while on the other hand it was a hit.
Bart Vriends made an error of judgment in a duel with Igor Paixão, who managed to put Gimenez in position. The Mexican thus set the final score at 3-0, and Feyenoord is now moving over PSV in the rankings again. The Rotterdammers are now second, while a meeting with the direct competitor awaits next week. Sparta is eleventh in the Premier League.
