Dost and Vormer score, assist Lang, official PSG debut for Simons

Club Brugge remains in the race for the Belgian double: the number one of the competition in the Croky Cup finished with number two Royal Antwerp FC and two of the three hits were Dutch. Paris Saint-Germain also made a cup: with the Parisians Xavi Simons (17) also made his official debut.

Club Brugge-Royal Antwerp FC 3-1The numbers one and two of the Jupiler Pro League kept up for one half, until Hans Vanaken broke the spell on Clinton Mata: 1-0. Bas Dost made 2-0 of it, Didier Lamkel Zé brought back the tension, but Ruud Vormer made the final decision after an assist from Noa Lang. Club Brugge therefore placed itself before the quarter-finals of the Belgian cup, officially called the Croky Cup.
SM Caen – Paris Saint-Germain 0-1In France, PSG is another round, after a tight victory at Ligue 2-midmoter SM Caen. Moise Kean struck in Caen: shortly after rest, the Italian striker shot Neymar‘s only hit on Wednesday evening. Twelve minutes before the moment of Simons came: the Dutch talent was allowed to fill in for Julian Draxler and made his first official minutes in the PSG chief.

Swansea City – Manchester City 1-3Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola gave a few basic players rest for the cup battle with Swansea. Goalkeeper Ederson took place on the bench and Zack Steffen was allowed to sit under the bar. The man in shape Ilkay Gündogan was part of the party and that was also true for Kyle Walker. After half an hour the rightback gave a low and soft front, but strangely enough no one was left to it: 0-1.

Manchester City then had a strong start of the second half enough to finally master Swansea. Raheem Sterling scored in the 47th minute after a beautiful pass by Rodri. Three minutes Gabriel struck Jesus nicely: 0-3. Morgan Whittaker did something in return for Swansea, but The Citizens easily reached the quarter finals of the FA Cup.
In it, City Leicester can hit City. Later in the evening, The Foxes won 1-0 from Brighton & Hove Albion. Kelechi Iheanacho scored in injury time on Youri Tielemans. Joël Veltman invaded Brighton 20 minutes before.

Atalanta Bergamo – Napoli 3-1Atalanta Bergamo will compete against Juventus in the final of the Coppa Italia. La Dea was at home with 3-1 too strong for Napoli, after the first duel had ended in 0-0. In the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia, Duvan Zapata hit target with a distance shot after ten minutes. Six minutes later Matteo Pessina made it 2-0. The same Pessina also signed for the 3-1 in the final minutes, after former PSV Hirving Lozano had done something in return shortly after rest.
Marten de Roon and Robin Gosens had a base seat at Atalanta, which can win the cup for the second time in club history. Hans Hateboer was missing because of an injury, Sam Lammers fell in.
