Within Roda JC there is content with Jurgen Streppel‘s contract extension. The trainer extended his contract for two years on Wednesday, leaving him in Kerkrade until 2024.
Roda announced the Streppel news along with the news about Jordens Peters, who is immediately the new managing director at the Parkstad Limburg Stadium. “With Jurgen, we have a lot of football knowledge and experience in the staff and the entire organization,” says Roda chairman Joop Janssen on the club site. “He enjoys a lot of trust and respect both inside and outside the club and is a real connection. He is a great ambassador alongside top trainer. Furthermore, Jurgen is able to make young talents better in Roda JC’s shirt, and we want to pursue that as a club.”
Streppel is also happy to stay on Roda for longer. “This is an expression of mutual trust. In the last first year of rebuilding this club there were highs and lows. Of course, everything didn‘t always run the way I hoped or wanted to, but in the end I really feel right here and I’d like to go through the upward line with Roda JC.”
