Driessen doesnt make a word: Lock makes itself ridiculed historically

Valentijn Driessen is convinced that Peter Bosz would have been Erik ten Hags successor if Marc Overmars had been director of football affairs. De Cceits football chief knows that the Antwerp board member is charmed by the Olympique Lyon trainer.
In France, Bosz is in the national league with Lyon in the middle, while West Ham United has been eliminated in the Europa League. Driessen wonders if the Dutchman is a candidate to take over Ten Hags baton after this season. “If Marc Overmars had been there, Bosz would have become Ajaxs new trainer. But now that Overmars is gone, I think Edwin van der Sar is the director. Its not as charmed by Peter Bosz as Overmars has been,” reveals the morning newspapers football chef in the podcast Kick-Off.
“But you should also look at what is available on the market. Bosz is not available yet, but if he became available and he is the only candidate who meets all the requirements Ajax sets for an Ajax trainer, then you are almost condemned to him,” continues Driessen, who sees only one other potential successor to Ten Hag as the Amsterdammers want a Dutchman for the group.
“Then besides Bosz, I only see Arne Slot. Then you should get over the bridge for that. I think Arne Slot is ridiculing himself historically, but he doesnt keep saying no” is Driessens prediction. Slot announced this week that he cant make any representation of the main coachership at Ajax.
