Dying Light 2 developers told of reasons for the transfer

The developers of Dying Light 2 spoke about the reasons for the recent postponement of the game from December 2021 to February 2022. Techlands lead designer Tymon Smektala explained that the authors wanted to fix all the shortcomings and make sure your gaming systems work properly. Dying Light 2 is full of complex and intersecting systems that hundreds of people have worked on โ€” at one point the systems start interacting with a friend, but there are also cases where they do not work correctly.

And it needs to be corrected. Tymon SmectalaAccording to the author, these situations are usually quite easy to fix, but developers want to make sure everything works well.

And they may even add some additional Easter games in the coming months. Smektala also noted that all skills will be important in the sequel, and they will be able to try them out right away โ€” compared to original, where it was easy to do without some skills.

The cat hook has also become a very useful element of the game, which now works more like creepers than Spider-Man web shooters. parkour rather than changing an already set course of running.

In addition, the very physics of moving around with it will feel good in the game. Dying Light 2 is released on February 4 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch (via the cloud).
