EA opens a new studio led by one of the creators of the Halo series

Electronic Arts opens a new studio in Seattle with Marcus Leito, one of the creators of the Halo. The studio plans to develop first-person games. Its name and developer line-up are still unknown.

Leito announced the news on his Twitter account. He worked at Bungie from 1997 to 2012, where he also served as creative director of Halo, Halo 2 and Halo 3.

After that, he founded the studio V1 Interactive and released the shooter Disintegration โ€” unfortunately, the game disappointed critics and players, and the studio had to close at the beginning 2021. As a reminder, EA previously opened another studio in Seattle, headed by Monolith Vice President Kevin Stevens.

The team was reported to be engaged in creating an open-world adventure game. More on Gamemania The creators of S.
