Efficient PEC wins over courageous Jong PSV, VVV books victory in closing minute

PEC Zwolle booked the fourth victory in a row in the Kitchen Champion Division on Friday evening. The Blue Fingers were extremely efficient in the first half and did not give up the lead against Jong PSV anymore. VVV-Venlo went to visit TOP Oss and managed to win a victory in the closing minute.
PEC Zwolle – Jong PSV 4-2The game between PEC and Jong PSV initially went straight, but the home team needed few chances to score. Jordy Tutuarima already scored the opening goal after nine seconds and Tomislav Mrkonjiฤ‡ signed with two goals for 2-0 and 3-0 after more than half an hour and just before halftime. In the second act, Jong PSV went looking for a goal and it was found by Dante Sealy after less than an hour. However, Lennart Thy shot PEC on a 4-1 lead ten minutes before time, making August Priskes 4-2 little more mattered. Due to the big victory, PEC is sovereignly at the top of the Kitchen Champion Division with twelve points from four games, Jong PSV is stuck in thirteenth place with four points.
TOP Oss – VVV Venlo 1-2VVV visited TOP Oss on Friday evening and was the better team. Nevertheless, after twenty minutes, the home team got the lead at the hands of Justin Mathieu. The Venloners did not let themselves be fooled and came to the same height just before the break due to a hit by Thijme Verheijen. In the second half, VVV was emphatically looking for victory and the team was rewarded after a close second half. Nick Venema took care of the 1-2 in the closing minute. VVV started the new season well and is nine points after four games due to the late goal, thus occupying seventh place. TOP Oss has so far taken three points and can be found for place number fifteen.
