Nasser El Khayati does not have a new club yet and there is no interest from the Premier League either. The 32-year-old playmaker himself says he is open to everything and cares little about the financial picture.
El Khayati is a guest during football talk on ESPN and indicates that he is still searching. “There havent been any clubs that have actually come forward. There have been intermediaries who reported me and then I talk to those who come up with nice proposals. They ask me if Im open to something.”
Clubs dont have to worry about the midfielder expecting an exorbitantly high salary. “I tell those people that they can tell the Dutch clubs that finance is not very important to me. The worst part is staying without a club for a long time. Im super fit and train twice daily. Of course Im 32, but I broke through late. I can go through for a while.”
After a season and a half at Qatar SC, El Khayati returned to ADO The Hague last February, where he could not prevent the club from relegating. Then he left transferfree. Previously, he also played for clubs such as Burton Albion and Queens Park Rangers.
