End of Dragons expansion for Guild Wars 2 rescheduled to early 2022

Developers from the ArenaNet studio rescheduled the release of the End of Dragons expansion for the Guild Wars 2 MMORPG. It will now be released not at the end of 2021, but in early 2022. The authors note that the plans were impacted by pandemics.

The developers will host a live broadcast on End of Dragons as early as July 27. Players are waiting for a new trailer, as well as details about innovations, story, characters, event design and more.

Recall that the third expansion for Guild Wars 2 was announced back in August 2020. In October of that year, ArenaNet delayed the release of MMORPG on Steam indefinitely to focus forces on the development of End of Dragons.

In addition to End of Dragons, the authors are working on optimization performance. To increase FPS, DirectX 11 support is added to the engine, which will also open the way for potential graphics updates.
