Ajax simply won the home game against Sparta Rotterdam (4-2). The leader of the Eredivisie holds a lead of 6 points on close attacker PSV, which has played a more duel.
Ajax led at rest with 3-0. Sébastien Haller made the 1-0 and 2-0 and Perr Schuurs signed for the 3-0. In the opening phase of the second half Mohammed Kudus also struck a goal (4-0). AZ sets the tone
AZ had little trouble on Saturday night in Venlo with VVV and went back to Alkmaar with a 1-4 victory. Because of the victory, AZ holds the important second place in the Eredivisie in its sights. The team of trainer Pascal Jansen reduced the backlog on PSV to a point.
Fortuna Sittard won ADO Den Haag in the last duel on Saturday night. Lisandro Semedo and Sebastian Polter gave the Limburg team a 2-0 victory. Previously, FC Emmen put a line under a negative series. The formation of Dick Lukkien made the first win of the season: PEC Zwolle was knocked 3-2 and that cost trainer John Stegeman his job later in the day.
