Everton still turns 2-0 behind in victory and remains in the Premier League

Everton has officially played safe in the Premier League. The Toffees, where Donny van de Beek stayed on the bench for the entire game, won 3-2 from Crystal Palace and that was enough to permanently distance himself from the relegation zone.
With a home win over The Eagles Thursday night, Everton would already be sure of Premier League preservation. However, trainer Frank Lampards team did not play football in the opening phase. Palace was better and got ahead after 21 minutes via Jean-Philippe Mateta. Evertons defense didnt look too good in that regard.
