Facebook blocks girlfriend Jürgen Conings after sharing obituary

Jürgen Coningsgirlfriend is blocked on the social media platform Facebook, according to Belgian media. She shared her boyfriend’s obituary that was found in a forest this weekend.

The woman‘s account has been blocked for 30 days as the message would violate Facebook guidelines. Content, groups, and pages that praise or support terrorists, such as Jürgen C., are not allowed on Facebook or Instagram, a company spokesperson said earlier to Belga news agency.

This Saturday the Funeral of Conings will take place in Maasmechelen. Friday night there is a possibility of a last greeting at a Papillon funeral centre. The family asks for rest. Political statements are not welcome to the greeting, it sounds. The police are aware and will see if everything goes well.

Police and prosecutor’s office were looking for the military man who threatened multiple virologists, including Marc van Ranst. The remains of Conings were found by chance in the Dilserbos on Sunday. In the meantime, an autopsy has shown that he got out of life himself.
