On Friday, Rockstar finally put an end to all rumors and pretenses by announcing Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — The Definitive Edition. Remasters of GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas promise to release on PC and consoles (including Switch) at the end of the year, and Android and iOS in early 2022. Insider Tom Henderson, who cited two anonymous sources, claims the release will take place on 11 November.
Meanwhile fans of the series have already swamped Reddit with memes hinting that it would be nice update and the rest of the parts. In the case of the latter, there is no discrimination — while one submits updated versions of GTA 1 and 2, others are eager to get Liberty City Stories, Vice City Stories and so on.
