Miami took a 12-point lead in the third quarter of the game. The Bucks came back to 87-91, but Miami didnt let it go beyond that.

The Florida squad is now playing the Eastern Conference play-off-final against Boston Celtics of Toronto Raptors.

Protest

During the Bucks earlier play-off series, against Orlando Magic, the team decided not to play the fifth game. They refused to act as a protest against police violence against black people in the United States.

“We are tired of murder and injustice,” Bucks player George Hill explained, a few days after Jacob Blake, a black man from Kenosha in the American state of Wisconsin, was shot by the police.

Following the Bucks, more teams from more leagues (including the soccer and baseball league) decided not to play anymore. After a few days, the games were resumed. Also in the NBA, where the Bucks ended up taking care of Orlando Magic.
