‘FC Barcelona terminates contract Matheus: Player sues the club’

The departure of Matheus Fernandes at FC Barcelona may get another tail. The player sued the club, Spanish media report Monday night.
Barcelona has dissolved Matheus‘ contract, which went through four more years. But according to Mundo Deportivo and MARCA, the Brazilian is not happy with that, he is lacking the Catalan club’s practice. Matheus believes he has been wrongly set aside and wants to collect the value of his contract. He was told by email that his commitment has been disbanded.
Attracting Mathew was softly expressed strange. The midfielder was taken over from Palmeiras in Brazil for about seven million euros in 2019, did not take action for Barcelona and was rented to Real Valladolid, where he did not break pots either. Moreover, Matheus has never been presented as a Barcelona player.
According to Mundo Deportivo and MARCA, Barcelona has taken a hasty decision by terminating its contract. The player had several options: one from France, Greece and his old club Palmeiras was interested.
