FC Twente must miss Cerny two duels after a much-discussed red card

FC Twente will have to do without Vaclav Cerny in the next two games. The Tukkers have accepted the prosecutor‘s professional football settlement proposal, as you can read on the club site.
Cerny received a much-discussed red card in Sunday’
s Eredivisie topper against Feyenoord (2-0 loss). The Czech striker went hard on Javairô Dilrosun, but Twente trainer Ron Jans and captain Robin Pröpper thought it should have been called off just before because of offside. However, there was no dispute about the red card, so Twente agrees to the proposal for three duels suspension, one of which is conditional.
As a result, Cerny misses Sunday‘s home game against FC Groningen and the fight at SC Cambuur a week later. It is a setback for Jans’s team, which is currently fifth. With four goals and one assist, the 24-year-old outdoor player is well on track this season.
