Tahith Chong may return to Feyenoord, reports the generally reliable 1908nl. The 22-year-old outdoor player is under contract with Manchester United, but still did not manage to break through there.
Chong went through the youth program of Feyenoord, but left for England in 2016, to play in Uniteds O18. After rental periods at Werder Bremen, Club Brugge and Birmingham City, he rejoins United in the preparation, although it is unclear whether Erik ten Hag has any perspective for him. Feyenoord reportedly wants to strike and bring Chong back to Rotterdam.
Conversations with the attacker would already be imminent. At Old Trafford, Chong is still stuck until the summer of 2023, so Feyenoord has to transfer a transfer fee to England when buying. Its current market value is 3.5 million euros.
Chong is not the first attacker to be linked to the Rotterdammers. Feyenoord is also said to have caught an eye on Calvin Stengs, while the club is close to the arrival of Italian international Wilfried Gnonto.
