Jennifer Lawrence was injured on the set of the new movie Dont Look Up on Friday. A film title that she could have taken a little more literal: the actress got a piece of glass in her eye. The recordings have been suspended indefinitely.
Lawrence got the piece of glass in her eye during a controlled explosion in which a window in front of the actress burst apart. Although she would have a significant hemorrhage in her eye, according to TMZ, she is well under circumstances.
The film by director Adam McKay (Vice) is about two scientists (Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio) who have to organize a gigantic media tour to warn humanity about an approaching asteroid that is about to destroy the Earth.
In addition to Lawrence and DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Matthew Perry, Kid Cudi, Jonah Hill, Himesh Patel, Tomer Sisley and Rob Morgan play in the film.
