‘Fine with Til and Jahanbakhsh, but unfit for international club competitions’

Wim Kieft thinks Feyenoord can bring a nice Eredivision team this season, but nothing more than that. Gains Guus Til and Alireza Jahanbakhsh do well in the Netherlands, but have failed abroad.
For the Eredivisie there is a great team with Luis Sinisterra โ€” under Lawyer long injured โ€” Jens Toornstra and that Austrian Gernot Trauner with that weird patch on his nose, Kieft starts in his column in De Cceit. And of course with Guus Til and Alireza Jahanbakhsh. They give Feyenoord something extra, and at the same time its two players who didnt know how to make it true abroad. Dont lift at Spartak Moscow and SC Freiburg and Jahanbakhsh at Brighton & Hove Albion.
According to Kieft, it says a lot about the qualities of the two players, who excel at Feyenoord in recent weeks.
So fun for the Eredivisie, but unfit for the major international club competitions. They see that too and youll notice how hard it is for Dutch top scorer Georgios Giakoumakis to find shelter at a good club. Or Riechedly Bazoer or Oussama Tannane, who were important pillars for Vitesses success, but struggling to make a nice transfer.
