Strong gusts of wind, floods and a lot of damage: in Asia hurricane Haishen pulled over. Tonight the hurricane went to South Korea and North Korea. There, people on the coast suffered from rising water.
The hurricane raged past Japan earlier. There, gusts of wind of 155 kilometres per hour were measured. Windows and doors of buildings broke down. Trees fell on electricity poles. As a result, some people were without power for a long time.
As far as we know, no people have died. That’s because they were warned the hurricane was coming. A lot of people were able to get to a shelter in time.
Tuesday the hurricane continues. It will be less powerful.
