Flying to and from Morocco is possible again, but with restrictions

Direct flights between the Netherlands and Morocco are allowed again. The Netherlands and Morocco have made agreements that apply until 9 September. After that the Moroccan government will assess the situation regarding corona at that moment.

It is now up to the airlines to reschedule these flights, which had been cancelled, says the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. An agreement for after 9 September is being worked on, says a spokesman.

The agreements on these direct flights do not affect the entry ban for travellers from Morocco, which remains in force. People who come from Morocco and do not make a necessary journey to the Netherlands will not be admitted.

Moroccans who also have a passport from an EU country are admitted to the Netherlands. All travellers from Morocco are urgently advised to go into home quarantine for two weeks upon their return to the Netherlands.
