Formula 1 has a calendar for this season: yes Turkey, no China

The Turkish Grand Prix returns to the calendar of Formula 1 this year. A total of four races have been definitively added to the programme for this season, bringing the total to seventeen.

After Istanbul on 15 November there will be two more races in Bahrain, after which the year ends on 13 December in Abu Dhabi. Initially also Shanghai seemed to be on the planning, but the preference is therefore for Turkey.

On May 8, 2011, the last of a total of seven grand prixs was held in Istanbul Park. In the service of Red Bull, Sebastian Vettel was the first to cross the line.

The races in Bahrain and Abu Dhabi were already in pencil in the agenda and were now definitively established. Despite the enormous delay, this season finally has a pretty full calendar, with only four races less than last year’s 21.
