Forum for Democracy participates in elections in 50 municipalities

Forum for Democracy wants to participate in the municipal elections in fifty municipalities next year. Thats a lot more than four years ago, because then Forum only participated independently in Amsterdam.

Forum wants to try to get seats in cities such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, Groningen and Maastricht, but also in smaller municipalities such as Edam-Volendam, Sluis and Achtkarspelen.

Disproportionate corona measures

Forum is the only one to set a fundamentally different vision towards โ€œthe established cartel partiesโ€. Among other things, the party wants the โ€œdisproportionate corona measuresโ€ to be abolished and that no boas are used to maintain QR codes. There must also be local referendums.

Forum captured three seats in Amsterdam in the 2018 elections; due to breakdowns, one of them is left. Last month, the party also participated in the reclassification elections in four new municipalities. In all four, Forum managed to get one or more seats in the city council.

The municipal elections are on Wednesday, March 16, 2022.
