Poulemates Latvia and Gibraltar, just like the Netherlands, started defeating the World Cup qualification series. It is already clear that the Netherlands can hardly afford any loss of points.
Gibraltar – Norway 0-3Football Dwarf Gibraltar held almost half against Norway, but after 43 minutes the ban was broken. FC Groningen-flop Alexander Sorloth opened the score and Kristian Thorstvedt was confident for rest.
Gibraltar had nothing in the milk to crumble and already resigned to defeat. The 0-3 was of Alkmaar manufacture. A repulsed corner of Fredrik Mitdsjo was entered by Jonas Svensson, who put the final score on the scoreboard.
Gibraltar is after one game round in Groep G. Netherlands is one spot above that because it won one less goal.
Latvia – Montenegro 1-2Montenegro has also started flaming in the World Cup qualification series. Stefan Jovetic set his country to 0-1 just before rest, after which Janis Ikaunieks managed to equalize the stand again.
1-1 seemed to be the final result for a long time, until Jovetic pulled the trigger again just before time. In doing so, he gave Montenegro the first three points in the qualifying series.
Belgium – Wales 3-1Belgium has recovered from a backlog and the first three points within. The current number one in the world was lagging behind by Harry Wilson, but a little later Kevin De Bruyne and Thorgan Hazard put things in order.
In the second half Romelu Lukaku threw the game in the slot. Thats what the Internazionale striker did from the dot, after Dries Mertens was shot down in the penalty area.
France – Ukraine 1-1France immediately ran into a loss of points in the first match. Ukraine, opponent of Orange at the European Championships, managed to leave Paris with a 1-1 draw. The predominance was obvious to France. Antoine Griezmann put his team on a 1-0 lead after fifteen minutes of play.
Ukraine managed to reach a level level with France in the second half. However, the team got help from defender Presnel Kimpembe, who got the ball shot against him.
Serbia – Ireland 3-2He made no goals, but still Dusan Tadic was the big man in Serbia. He claimed the lead role by being involved in all three goals. After Ireland had reached a head start, Dusan made Vlahovic equal to Tadic.
The Tadic show got a sequel in the second half. The newly invaded Aleksandar Mitrovic was served by Tadic and also in the 3-1 the Ajax captain was invaluable. Ireland set the first situation just before time at 3-2.
