France takes care of Austria after the break, Belgium has no child in Wales

On Thursday evening, France did what they had to do and won against Austria. In doing so, the Deschamps team still keeps track of the Nations League final round. In the Netherlands‘s pool, Belgium has simply put Wales aside. The direct competitor of the Dutch team won 2-1.

The French did not achieve more goals at the Stade de France in Marseille, but with this victory, they will at least keep track of the Nations League final round.

Wales did come out of the changing rooms flaming after the break and did something back after fifty minutes of play. Center striker Kieffer Moore made the connection goal for trainer Robert Page’s team. In the final phase, the Belgians were awarded another penalty, but it was reversed by the VAR. Furthermore, the Belgians were no longer in trouble and the score remained 2-1. As a result of this victory, Belgium, together with the Netherlands, will decide who will be the group winner in pool A.
