A fresh video of World War Z: Aftermath featuring the destruction of hordes of stray dead has been released online. The video shows both third and first person battles (one of the most important innovations Aftermath). In addition, an elaborate melee system using bladed weapons will be added to the game — as implemented, is also demonstrated in the video.
Aftermath will also feature two additional story campaigns (Rome and Kamchatka), an exclusive class (Melee Specialist), and new weapons. The release of World War Z: Aftermath, an extended version of the cooperative zombie action thriller, will be on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series on September 21.
