From Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider removed the Denuvo defence

Square Enix has released fresh patches to adventure action films Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider. These updates remove the Denuvo protection from games. Instead, they add new features to Nvidia DLSS technology.

The Shadow of the Tomb Raider patch updates the DLSS to the latest version and adds improved grain suppression in shadows ray tracing. It also fixes certain compatibility issues with Intel GPU hardware.

Rise of the Tomb Raider update adds DLSS and introduces various stability improvements, especially when using DX12 . A similar patch was also released to Tomb Raider.

All three games are available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, PC and Google Stadia. Their PC versions use Epic Onlines network infrastructure for multiplayer modes.
