Games Workshop banned from making fan films and animations without license

Games Workshop changed the policy regarding its intellectual property. Recall that the companys most famous IP is Warhammer. Network users have been dissatisfied with the updated list of intellectual property violations where fan movies and setting-based animations and Games Workshop characters.

Now they can only be created by licence. The company notes that it has a zero-tolerance policy for intellectual property infringement.

Previously Games Workshop presented Warhammer+ subscription service, which plans to launch as early as August. Subscribers will receive a variety of content, including animations in the Warhammer.

The company also hired the author of the fan animated series Astartes. Thanks to this, the already official sequel Astartes was launched into production.
