Germany takes first European ticket, Belgians have to do job on their own

The first European delegate at the 2022 World Cup is known. Germany has previously lost this qualifying cycle at home to North Macedonia, but has retaliated against the Dutch teams EC opponent and is already sure of World Cup qualification.
Belarus – Czech Republic 0-2/Estland-Wales 0-1 (Group E) Belgium could have placed itself without playing on Monday night, but will have to complete the job itself in November. Competitors Czech Republic and Wales both won: Patrik Schick and Adam Hlozek won the European executioner of Orange a victory in Belarus, Kieffer Moore made the only hit at Estland-Wales. Both countries have eleven points, five points less than Belgium. However, Wales has one more match against the Czech Republic.
Slovenia-Russia 1-2/Croatia-Slovakia 2-2 (Group H) The losing finalist of the previous World Cup seems to have to take a detour for the 2022 edition. Croatia was tied with Russia at the start of the football night, but spilled points against Slovakia: Ivan Schranz and Lukรกs Haraslรญn helped the guests get a lead twice, Andrej Kramaric and Luka Modric had an answer twice, but the Croats did not arrive. In the meantime, central defenders Igor Diveev and Georgi Dzhikiya helped Russia on their way in Maribor. Josip Ilicic made the hookup strike before halftime, but the Slovenes did not come any further. Russia will take two points ahead of Croatia in the final rounds of play, but both countries are still facing each other on November 14.
North Macedonia โ€” Germany 0-4/Romania-Armenia 1-0 (Group J) The surprising defeat to North Macedonia in March was the only spotlight in an otherwise flawless qualification series for Die Mannschaft. On Monday, the same North Macedonians were rolled up with big numbers: goals of Kai Havertz, Timo Werner twice and Jamal Musiala earned Germany the World Cup ticket. Meanwhile, the battle for a spot in the playoffs is extremely exciting: Romania took second place from Armenia in a joint duel and has one point ahead of Armenia and North Macedonia after eight out of the ten rounds.
