Giakoumakis keeps door to dream transfer open after four-clapper at VVV

Georgios Giakoumakis can‘t stop scoring. The Greek striker led VVV-Venlo on Wednesday evening with four goals along ADO Den Haag and afterwards said that he basically finishes the season in the Netherlands.

Giakoumakis was thrilled after his thirteenth, fourteenth, fifteenth and sixteenth goals of the season. โ€œEverything went well, from the first minuteโ€, the Greek laughs in front of ESPN’s camera. He‘s the first time he’s scored four times in one game.
โ€œOr I stay? After the game, I talked to my teammates. They asked me to stay until the end of the season, very nice to hear. If nothing really, very special comes along, I want to stay. But I can‘t promise anything. It’s not only my decision, but also the club determines.โ€
โ€œNot Normal“Danny Post, captain of VVV, praises himself happily with a teammate like Giakoumakis. โ€œNot normal, huh? Four targets again… He’s super important to us. Everything he touches flies in. That’s quality. But if he had done this before, he probably wouldn’t have played with us.โ€

Danny Post hopes that Georgios Giakoumakis still playing at VVV after the transfer period รฐโ„ข “It’s definitely quality, everything he touches this year almost always flies in itโ€ pic.twitter.com/6VARFEQ4QJ
