โ€œGood player, but we wont be the only club El Khayati wants.โ€

ADO Den Haag trainer Aleksandar Rankovic opens the door wide for Abdenasser El Khayati, but has to admit that his name has not fallen in the trainers room once in the past week.

El Khayati had his contract terminated with Qatar SC this week and is therefore transfer-free. However, ADO did not discuss a possible return to The Hague. โ€œHow often has his name fallen? Not onceโ€, says Rankovic at the press conference for the home game against AZ next Sunday.
โ€œI know El Khayati well and I‘ve read the messages, but we haven’t talked about him,โ€ says Rankovic honestly. He‘ll open the door for El Khayati. โ€œWould I want him? Let’s face it: he‘s definitely a good player. But we’re not gonna be the only club that wants him. So I‘d be lying if I said no.โ€
