Gravenberch, Martínez, Schuurs and Antony will no longer be in action this season

Ajax has communicated through the official channels that Ryan Gravenberch, Lisandro Martínez, Antony and Perr Schuurs will no longer be in action this season. The quartet is injured, causing the Amsterdammers to continue the road to the 36th national title without them.
Ajax has confirmed the news that has already been brought by De Cceit about Gravenberch. The midfielder suffered an injury to his left ankle at Wednesday‘s practice and is eliminated for the remainder of the season. With this, the twenty-year-old straight-footed played his last match for the capital city dwellers.
A muscle injury is playing tricks on Martínez, ending his contribution to the hunting for the national title. In addition, Schuurs has his last match of 2021/22. The Limburger suffers from an injury to his knee. Like Gravenberch, Antony is experiencing ankle problems, which means that the Brazilian dribbler is also out of play for this season.

Gravenberch, Martínez, Schuurs & Antony are out for the rest of the season… Get well soon, boys 😞🙏

Behind the names of Steven Berghuis and those of Noussair Mazraoui there is a question mark for Sunday’s next game against AZ. ‘They are still expected to be used in the final part of the season’, can be read in the press release on the Ajax site.
