Ruud Gullit is surprised by Feyenoord on Sunday. The Rotterdammers lost the Classical of Ajax, but made a good impression on the Ziggo analyst.
In the opening phase, Feyenoord had little to tell Ajax and after 22 minutes he got behind by a goal by Ryan Gravenberch. “I can imagine you start quietly to see how the game is going to run, but they couldn‘t play two passes to each other,” says Gullit at Rondo about Feyenoord.
The former international saw how the team of Dick Advocate threw away the trepidation. “They were going to believe in it. Then I thought, you guys can play soccer. Just shake it off and get out of your own power. I can’t imagine they‘re as bad as they’re presented. For example, I found Jörgensen very good today.”
