Hamstra hard on his way to Ajax, ‘surprised’ Heerenveen-director crackles work

Gerry Hamstra gets criticism from Cees Roozemond. The general director of sc Heerenveen says he is not very mourning about the departure of his former technical manager, who is on his way to Ajax.
Roozemond revealed Wednesday evening that Hamstra was no longer with his head at Heerenveen in the last few weeks. The fact that the technical manager was secretly speaking with Ajax accelerated the break that became official last Tuesday. โ€œWe are unpleasantly surprised by his departure. We‘re a fancy club that’s always open and honest. That was not Gerry in this case,โ€ responds Roozemond at Omrop Fryslan.
Despite some successes in the transfer market, such as the lucrative sale of Denzel Dumfries and Chidera Ejuke, Hamstra has also fallen into the Abe Lenstra Stadium, according to Roozemond. โ€œTechnical manager is more than just buying and selling players. If you look at our youth education and the number of youth players that have broken through, then we are in the lower regions of the Eredivisie.โ€
Hamstra must become the right hand of Marc Overmars at Ajax. He is expected to sign a multi-annual contract with Ajax in the short term.
