Hakim Ziyech did not come into action during the Champions League final on Saturday night, but was happily in front of beIN Sportss camera afterwards. The former player of sc Heerenveen, FC Twente and Ajax saw his club Chelsea win the final battle of Manchester City thanks to a hit by Kai Havertz.
And so Ziyech was allowed to appear in front of the microphone with a winners medal. “How do I feel? I cant describe it”, says the left-hand arm born in Dronten. “This is a boys dream that has come true. I have no words for it.”
The triumph with Ajax in 2019 is also mentioned in the interview: Ziyech then dramatically missed Tottenham Hotspur, but two years later he was allowed to keep up the Cup with the Great Oars. “I came to this club to win prizes. And now Im the lucky one.”
“I used to this club to win trophies!” Hakim Ziyech is only the second ever Moroccan player to win the Champions League its safe to say hes pretty happy! 🇲🇦 👏 #beINUCL #UCLFinal #UCL Watch Now – https://t.co/RRmQgctETJ pic.twitter.com/DNHBit14HW
