Hard-fought PEC victory, ADO takes point in extremis, NAC loses in Amsterdam

PEC Zwolle remains the leader of the Kitchen Champion Division. It won a hard-fought victory over Jong AZ in Alkmaar. Dirk Kuyt‘s ADO Den Haag (photo) secured a point, but does not win again.
Jong AZ – PEC Zwolle 2-3PEC got a deserved lead after more than twenty minutes of play thanks to Lennart Thy, who finally got a frommel goal to his name. Shortly thereafter, PEC was given an excellent opportunity to double the score, were it not for the fact that Bram van Polen missed a penalty kick. Shortly thereafter, he caused one himself, which allowed Jong AZ to equalize.
PEC threatened to go down early in the second half when Jong AZ got the lead again thanks to Iman Griffith, but in the space of six minutes the backlog was converted into a lead. Younes Taha El Idrissi scored first, then Dean Huiberts had the floor. As a result, PEC is still in the lead after seven games.
Almere City – FC Eindhoven 1-1The match between Almere City and FC Eindhoven only really came loose in the final phase. With fifteen minutes left on the clock, Jeredy Hilterman took care of the 1-0 from eleven meters onwards, threatening to give Eindhoven the first defeat of the season, but Colin Seedorf thought differently and equalized ten minutes before time.
In the final phase, it could have fallen in all directions, but there were no more goals in Almere.
Jong Utrecht – ADO Den Haag 1-1If there was a team that earned a goal in the opening phase, it was ADO. However, Kuyt’
s team lacked luck and a bit of sharpness. Young Utrecht was also not in class at times, which saved ADO a backlog.
In the second half, ADO simply lacked the impact force to make Young Utrecht really difficult. The Hagenaars did become dangerous, but it wasn‘t more than that. After fifteen minutes of playing in the second half, Jong Utrecht showed the teeth and with twenty minutes left on the clock, Derensili Sanches Fernandes scored the opening goal in the Galgenwaard.

Jong Utrecht should have thrown the game into the final phase in the final phase, left that behind, and was presented with a few more minutes of play when Nigel Owusu still made 1-1.
Jong Ajax – NAC Breda 3-1The beginning was promising for NAC, which hit the pole via Boyd Lucassen and shortly afterwards got ahead of sports park De Toekomst thanks to Jort van der Sande. NAC could have reached 0-2 or even 0-3 before rest, but failed to do so.
In the second half, NAC quickly fell behind. Roy Kortsmit was able to turn a free kick from Jong Ajax, but had no answer to the efforts of Kik Pierie. Gabriel Misehouy’
s 2-1 followed not much later. Both Jong Ajax and NAC had to continue with ten men in the final phase after Sontje Hansen and Sabir Agougil got together. They both had to leave in red.

Not much later Giovani decided the match for Jong Ajax. Jong Ajax climbs to seventh place and passes NAC, which is eighth.
Roda JC – De Graafschap 3-2It doesn‘t want to go smoothly for De Graafschap, which also quickly ran after the facts in Kerkrade. Bryan Limbombe scored after fifteen minutes of play, after which Dylan Vente also pulled the trigger. However, De Graafschap was not without a chance. It certainly got chances to make it a match again in the first half. Roda was simply more effective.
After rest, Roda made it 3-0 (again via Limbombe). Giovanni Korte scored quickly, again after Devin Haen made the game exciting again in the final phase. However, a 3-3 was too much to ask for De Graafschap. Adrie Poldervaart’
s team is stuck in seventeen place.
