“He has an advantage for me, you dont want a nerve sufferer under the bar”

Arnold Mühren prefers to see Remko Pasveer below the bar at the World Cup in Qatar. The former international informed De Cceit that the Ajax goalkeeper has an advantage over him.
For the newspaper, Mühren was allowed to judge the players of the Dutch team for their performance against Belgium on Sunday evening. Pasveer received an eight as the final grade from the Volendam. I think he is a goalkeeper who exudes peace and security and that is very important. There is nothing more annoying than a nerve sufferer below the bar. At the end, he had some luck with that ball on the ball, but all in all, I think he had a good match.
In Pasveer, Mühren also sees a playing style that matches that of national coach Louis van Gaal. With his football skills, he is very important in the structure. It opens easily from left to right and is a good starting point for the attacks. For that position at the World Cup, it will be between him and Jasper Cillessen. Here I look at what goalkeepers are currently performing and I think Pasveer has an advantage at the moment.
In addition to Pasveer, Virgil van Dijk and Nathan Aké also received an eight as a grade from Mühren. He certainly sees basic players at the World Cup in the two defenders. For me, Van Dijk is the undisputed leader of the Orange. Put the organization away properly and is a real lock on the door. Van Aké regretted that he was changed at halftime, because I thought he was the best in the first half. He‘s just really important in the structure and I’m in favour of having a left-footed defender in that place.
