Head of Techlands Warsaw unit leaves firm

The head of Techlands Warsaw division, Katzper Michalski, left the firm, where he worked for more than 15 years. He thanked everyone for their work and wished โ€œhealth,โ€ noting that he plans to dedicate to custody of his mother to the coming months. To its immediate working prospects, it will open somewhere closer to this fall.

Michalski has worked in the studio since 2002, dealing with levels of shooter Chrome and unreleased Day of the Mutants. He then became responsible for PR and marketing, and also worked as a senior tester and so on.

In 2012, he already left the firm for a while, moving to CI Games, where he was engaged in the brands Sniper: Ghost Warrior and Lords of the Fallen. In Techland he returned in 2016, already as the head of the Warsaw branch, which is working on an unannounced RPG.

Part of this team helped with the development of Dying Light 2, because of what their own project should come out much later than the scheduled deadline. Incidentally, in March the firm showed fresh footage of Dying Light 2, announcing plans to release the game before the end of the year.
