At the end of the year, a new Call of Duty will be released, but it is still unknown who is engaged in it – Infinity Ward (Modern Warfare), Sledgehammer (WWII) or another studio like Raven (Black Ops Cold War and Warzone). Contradicting rumors surrounding the novelty are already in short supply: someone is even talking about the direct sequel to Modern Warfare. According to him, this time Sledgehammer will release its Call of Duty, and its action will unfold again during World War II wars — the studio‘s previous game was a solemn return to the once popular setting.
It came out in 2017. Sledgehammer was originally due to release their Call of Duty last year, however following the departure of company founders Mark Condrey and Glen Scofield, the studio clashed with problems, and the game was given to Treyarch with Raven – so it turned out Black Ops Cold War.
The announcement of the new Call of Duty can take place only at the end of the summer, so while we will monitor the development of current Black Ops and Warzone – there just on February 25 will start a new season.
