Famous insider Dusk Golem, who often shares truthful information about Resident Evil, spoke about Capcoms plans to update the seventh part of the series for next-generation consoles. It looks like the upgrade could be announced in March, when the franchise will celebrate its 25th anniversary (the first Resident Evil came out March 22, 1996 in Japan). From the bloggers words, the impression is that the improvement will be free for horror owners on PS4 and Xbox One.
At the same time, the insider also told that he does not know about the state of the VR version of Resident Evil Village, which was precisely worked on, but still not officially presented. The publishers leaks reported that the mode for virtual reality helmets will once again become a PlayStation exclusive, as was the case with Re7.
