Heerenveen welcomes possible former NACer and talented back next week

SC Heerenveen and head coach Kees van Wonders may welcome two new players next week, Voetbal International reports. During the week, the Frisians make the choice to sign Lewis Fiorini and Hussein Ali.
Fiorini is under contract with Manchester City. Heerenveen would reportedly like to rent the 20-year-old midfielder. The Frisian club saw Siem de Jong, Nicolas Madsen and Hamdi Akujobi leave Heerenveen this summer, making Fiorini a welcome reinforcement for the Van Wonderen team. The talented Englishman already played on rent in the Netherlands in the 2020/2021 season. He then played 32 duels in the Kitchen Champion Division for NAC Breda.
Ali is currently on trial at Heerenveen. Twenty-year-old right-back of Swedens Örebro and played in the exhibition match against TOP Oss (4-1 win). It is reported that in this competition he made a great impression on the honorary divisionist and Van Wonders.
Fiorini and Ali could become the fourth and fifth summer addition to Heerenveen. Earlier, the Frisians brought in Andries Noppert (goalkeeper) and wing-strikers Alex Timossi and Mats Köhlert.
