Caldas was happy that his team could take action in the Pro League and showed himself satisfied with the victory. Goalkeeper Blaak spoke of a strong team performance at this stage of the season. Orange will play again against Great Britain on Thursday and will play against Belgium next week.

Football: PSG will discuss political tension between France and Turkey

19.42 hours: Paris Saint-Germain-trainer Thomas Tuchel will discuss the political tension between France and Turkey with his players. Wednesday the Parisians play football in Istanbul against Istanbul Başakşehir in the Champions League.

The relationship between France and Turkey has been under stress since the murder of the French teacher Samuel Paty, who was beheaded for showing Mohammed cartoons in his lesson on freedom of speech. The French leader Emmanuel Macron promised to fight Islamist separatism. The Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, who, among other things, called for French goods to be boycotted.

“ We’re not just football players,” said Tuchel at a press conference. “I told the players that I‘m sad that we can’t live together in harmony. So we‘re going to talk about it, but not too much because we need to focus on the game.”

PSG captain Presnel Kimpembe said he didn’t feel any tension before the game. “As long as UEFA says we can play here, we come to play our game and go home. It‘s not in our hands.”

The president of the club from Istanbul Göksel Gümüşdağ also expressed the wish not to allow the diplomatic riot to be skipped to the football field. Gümüşdağ has close ties with President Erdogan. “ParisSaint-Germain is a friendly club. We are very happy to receive the world-class club,” said the chairman. He especially praised the relationship with Nasser Al-Khelaifi, Qatar businessman and president of the Parisians.

Athletics: Sprinter Coleman suspended for 2 years and lacks Summer Games

19.16 hours: American sprinter Christian Coleman, reigning 100 meter world champion, has been suspended by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) for two years. He was punished for missing three doping checks last year.

The 24-year-old Coleman is not allowed to participate in the Olympic Games in Tokyo next year (23 July – 8 August 2021). He has 30 days to appeal.

Coleman was temporarily suspended in June of this year. On December 9 last year, the doping inspectors were in vain for the third time in 2019. Coleman was, according to his own words, away from home to do Christmas shopping.

After three missed doping checks, in principle, a suspension of one or two years follows automatically. On January 16 and April 26 in 2019, the top athlete was also not at the place where the doping hunters said he should have been.

Coleman sprinted last year in Doha to World Cup Gold on the 100 meters in 9.76 seconds. He also played a part in the world title of the American team on the 4×100 meter relay. His suspension ends on May 13, 2022. This would mean that he might be able to take part in the World Cup in Eugene in the summer of 2022.

Coleman escaped from a suspension at the beginning of September last year because of the same offence. Lesser month before the start of the Doha World Cup, the US anti-doping agency USADA decided to withdraw the doping case against him. Under the rules in force, Coleman could not be accused of having given up the wrong location three times within 12 months. After his new misstep in December 2019, the case against the American athlete could be refiled.

“ Unfortunately, we have to call this behavior of the athlete at least very careless, with reckless as hardest conclusion,” AIU said. “In fact, the last time he barely escaped a possible suspension. You’d think he‘d have learned from that. However, nothing of that has been shown.”

The Tour Schedule will now be presented on Sunday on tv channel France 3. It is already known that the Tour of France starts in Brest and stays in Brittany for four days.

Hockey: Orange women beat Britain in shoot-outs

18.16 p.m.: The hockey players have won the first of two matches against Britain in the Pro League. After the match in an empty Wagener Stadium in Amsterdam had ended in 1-1, Orange won 3-1 in the shoot-outs of the Olympic champion.

Pien Dicke and Jo Hunter scored in regular time for the Netherlands and Great Britain respectively. In the shoot-outs goalie Anne Veenendaal stopped three attempts by British hockey players and Oranje still got the victory.

It was the first match in the Pro League for Orange since the matches against Argentina in February this year. The duels against New Zealand in March were postponed due to the outbreak of the coronapandemic. The team of coach Alyson Annan was hit by possibly two positive tests in the run-up to the team, which meant that two players had to drop out at the last minute.

For Orange Pien Dicke scored already in the first minute. She was sent forward with a deep pass and did not fail face to face with Laura Unsworth. It was her first international goal and the 400th hit under Annan. Orange didn’t run any further, Kyra Fortuin got a few chances for a bigger lead for the rest, but couldn‘t finish it.

Britain reached the same level in the third quarter. The British hockey players did not score out of two penalty corners, but Orange did not come out well in the future. After that, Jo Hunter hit it up close.

In the shoot-outs, Pien Sanders, Caia van Maasakker scored out of a penal ball and Lidewewe Welten. The deployment of Margot van Geffen was stopped, but Veenendaal was good for three rescues and thus ensured the winning of the shoot-outs. Orange therefore leaves an extra point to the duel next to the point before the draw.

National coach Alyson Annan was dissatisfied with the game of Dutch hockey players after the tie against Great Britain. Orange grabbedfinally an extra point in Amsterdam by winning the shoot-outs.

“ What went wrong in this duel was the basis and it must be good to be able to play hockey properly. That was not the case today,” said the national coach about the game of Orange. “Simple passes from A to B, if they’re not good, then we play like this. If you don‘t take the ball properly and it runs off the stick, you’ll be in duels where you don‘t want to go. We have ourselves to blame for this.”

That it was the first game of hockey players in a long time due to the outbreak of the coronapandemic, Annan didn’t want to use as an excuse. “We do not apologize. First, the base must be better.”

Orange will play the second duel against Britain in the Pro League on Thursday.

Football: Lionesses without Vivianne Miedema against Kosovo

18.05: The Orange Lionesses start the EC qualifying duel with Kosovo Tuesday evening without Vivianne Miedema.

“ She‘s fine, but she’s not fit enough to play a whole game,” says football coach Sarina Wiegman.

Lineth Beerensteyn takes over Miedema‘s spot in rush hour. The attacker played against Estonia last Friday, when Orange secured the ticket for the European Championships 2020, still as a right-back. That position is filled in Pristina by Lynn Wilms.

Shanice van de Sanden is sitting on the couch. The outdoor player missed the duel with Estonia because of the death of her father-in-law.

Football: Heracles contracts Belgian footballer Azzaoui

16.49 hours: Heracles Almelo has signed Ismail Azzaoui. The 22-year-old attacker signed until the end of the season, with an option for another year.

Azzaoui trained for several days in September with the selection of the German trainer Frank Wormuth. The Belgian is happy that he can now continue his internship period. “Heracles Almelo is a nice club. I’m going to do everything I can to succeed here.”

Technical Director Tim Gilissen: “After the Ismail test period, we looked at how it could come to a final collaboration. It has now succeeded. We‘re glad he’s here.”

Until last summer Azzaoui was under contract with VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga, which leased him to Willem II in the 2017-2018 season.

Football: Draxler falls out of PSG and 16.30 pm in German team

: Midfielder Julian Draxler is on the side of Paris Saint-Germain for more than three weeks. The German international suffers from a femoral injury. Last Saturday he had to go to the side in the home game against Dijon (4-0) after an hour.

According to PSG, Draxler is ready to play again in mid-November, after the interland period. He therefore lacks a number of matches in the French league, in the Champions League and with the national team. Germany will play three international races next month, against the Czech Republic (game), Ukraine and Spain (both for the Nations League).

PSG plays Wednesday night in Turkey for the Champions League against Basaksehir. Nor does Trainer Thomas Tuchel have Mauro Icardi, Leandro Paredes and Marco Verratti. The Argentine striker Icardi, who suffered from a knee injury, resumed group training this week, and so does his compatriot Paredes. Verratti will join the selection next week.

PSG, finalist in the Champions League last year, started this edition with a defeat on its own ground against Manchester United. In the French competition, the formation of Tuchel is the leader.

The IBU came to the penalty after the Sports Tribunal had judged CAS on the basis of its biological passport that the Russian biathlete used doping during that period.

Ustyugov won gold with Russia in the relay at the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi, gold at the mass start at the Vancouver Winter Games in 2010 and bronze at the relay in Vancouver.

Football: Disciplinary Committee maintains suspension for Spartan Auassar

13.33 hrs: Sparta midfielder Adil Auassar remains suspended for three games, one of which is conditional. The Disciplinary Committee of the KNVB examined the matter on Monday evening.

“ The Disciplinary Committee has ruled that although the VAR did not show all the images to the referee, the action itself justifies the suspension,” reports the Rotterdam club.

Sparta is, according to his own words, “particularly disgruntled by the VAR‘s conduct, by subjectively showing the images to the referee.” Auassar gotred for natrap in the direction of Heracles player Rai Vloet, who would have made a violation prior to the violation of Auassar. Referee Serdar Gözübüyük gave after seeing the statues only Auassar red.

Auassar misses due to the suspension the cup match of Wednesday evening against ADO and Sunday the home match in the league against sc Heerenveen.
