During the Games to Be Steam-Festival, The Isnt Company presented its ambitious project, the Hometopia life simulator. Although there are only five people working on the game, the demo was a huge success. In the trial, the creators included only one mode, a construction sandbox that allows players to create home of your dreams.
This opportunity has been praised by the community. And the developers cited some festival stats.
During six days, players spent 28,000 hours in the Hometopia demo, which is about 1,200 days. The demo was downloaded tens of thousands of times, and hundreds of players were in the multiplayer sandbox at the same time.
On average, it took about an hour and a half to get acquainted with the demo. Hometopias live gameplay broadcast, which was shown during the festival, attracted 200,000 unique viewers.
The game was among the top ten most popular participants in “Games to Be” . Currently The Isnt Company is working on a career mode and tries to take into account all the comments and wishes of the participants festival testing.
