The former German top striker Uwe Seeler is again in the hospital. Just 84-year-old Seeler was transported to the hospital by ambulance Sunday evening, because he was dizzy and had difficulty breathing.
“ Fortunately, the doctors could not find anything, my father is in good health,” says his daughter to Bild. “Hell stay another day for observation.”
Seeler, club icon of Hamburger SV, ended up in a hospital with a broken hip in May after a fall in his home. The former footballer had to undergo surgery. Despite his fragile health, Seeler regularly showed himself at the stadium of HSV.
Seeler scored over 400 goals for the club from Hamburg, winning him in 1960. With the national team, the striker lost the World Cup finals against host country England in 1966. Four years later, Seeler took bronze with West Germany at the World Cup in Mexico. In 72 international he scored 43 goals.
