The police received a separate call yesterday. A ring-tail lemur has been stolen! That happened at a zoo in the American city of San Francisco.
When the cops arrived at the zoo, it turned out that the thief had broken things to get into the lemurs quarters. The police are still investigating, but the thief hasnt been found yet.
The police dont know why the lemur was stolen, but they do have a suspicion. There are sometimes trading in ring-tail lemurs, because some people want to keep them illegally as pets. Maybe this lemur got into that business, too.
Because the police have little clues, they shared a picture of the lemur and asked people in the neighborhood to search with them. Because of this, the cops hope to get the stolen animal back.
