Paris Saint-Germain director Luis Campos is trying to nip the unrest that has arisen around Kylian Mbappe in the bud. According to him, the 23-year-old attacker did not submit a transfer request in the Parc des Princes.
Mbappé would feel betrayed because of a series of broken promises, as leading media such as Marca, Le Parisien and LÉquipe wrote on Tuesday. Trainer Christophe Galtier and technical director Campos would support the French star and even follow him to the exit. However, the latter now denies this.
“Mbappé never told me about his intention to leave in January. I deny this information”, Campos starts at Canal Plus. “Were talking to him, with Messi, Neymar… We are all happy to be here. Its also not true that Im leaving Paris. Im happy here and I still have a three-year contract. My mission is to win big prizes with PSG.”
Campos then reiterates that he knows nothing about Mbappés dissatisfaction. “He didnt tell me or Nasser Al-Khelaïfi that he wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain in January. Is Mbappé happy here? You should ask him that, thats a serious question. He works like an absolute professional.”
