I had hoped to debut last year, didnt speak to Schreuder about it

Kian Fitz-Jim is realistic about his chances in the main force of Ajax. The midfielder will make the crossing from Young Ajax to the first team this summer, but insists that he still has to make meters in the Kitchen Champion Division.
Fitz-Jim was able to count on compliments from Alfred Schreuder after the exhibition game with SC Paderborn (5-2 loss), but he shows himself modestly. โ€œI think I havent really finished learning in the Kitchen Champion Division,โ€ he says to AT5. โ€œWhen I train well all year and have my place in the dressing room at Ajax 1, Im going to benefit from that.โ€
The eighteen-year-old midfielder is patient, but hopes for his official debut this season. โ€œI had hoped for it somewhere last year, but things turned out differently. I havent talked to Schreuder about it yet. I just had a few short conversations about the training camp.โ€
